My favourite Hanaya Japanese Dining, I am back for their Mutsuki Omakase Course ! Can't wait to have their delicacy pieces of sashimi freshly prepared by the Chef and served on-my-table. Just too pretty and yummy ! He is Chef Ono-san, who prepared my Omakase course for the night. According to Chef Ono-san, his nickname is UNO which means the BEST ! I had a great learning and chat with Chef Ono-san while I was enjoying my plates of sashimi. He was previously a chef works in Singapore and now he was working at Hanaya Japanese Dining Kuala Lumpur. You are UNO, Chef Ono-san ! I came along with my friend this round ! And we had decided to order the Mutsuki Omakase full course (RM 320+) and a bowl of the 2 kinds of tuna and negitoro don (RM 100) to share among ourselves. The Mutsuki Omakase Course comes with 8 dishes (RM 320+):
The Golden piece and Kyoto Black Beans Look at the delicacy of the omakase course dinner, just overly pretty to be eaten ! Even just a crab shell, it can be decorated so beautifully ! The full omakase course was not just about pretty, yet it was super fresh and delicious too. It was just like a piece of art. In terms of having the Australian Sher Wagyu Beef Steak, I had decided to have a try on the Japanese Premium Wagyu Beef Steak for an additional of RM 70. It was definitely worth it, Look at the marble ! Even it was not at the grade of a Matsusaka beef or Kobe beef, it was still pretty good and it melts in my mouth ! The portion was too small for me ! I want more please for the beef ! The beef steak goes well with the dried garlic slices too ! So satisfied ! The Eel Rice ChawanMushi caught my eyes ! Definitely first time seeing this kind of chawanmushi. Normally chawanmushi was the combines of some steam eggs and seafoods ! However, this comes with rice. This was scrumptiously delicious too ! It definitely warms the stomach after the feast of the sashimi entree of the course. Lastly was the appetizer. We had the pineapple and raspberries ice-cream sorbet over the brownies cake ! A great choice after a fully satisfied main course ! The ice-cream sorbet just came at the right time, definitely a refreshing and scorching one ! Well-balanced among the sourness and sweetness. There were some pieces of flower jelly too ! Yumzz... Yummz... Courtesy of the Chef Ono-san, prepared an exclusively appetizer (tuna with avocado) just for me ! So nice of him. This was super good, the taste of the avocado and tuna was well-balanced and mixed together perfectly ! Not much to say about this ! Just look at the bowl and you will know that this was definitely my bowl of happiness ! Everything melts in my mouth and definitely a thumbs up for every pieces in the bowl ! Much love for this bowl of tuna. I was in a much more slower pace while enjoying every pieces in the bowl. Just not so willing to finish up this bowl so quickly.
